Lightility recently completed a comprehensive LED upgrade at the iconic Kennedy Warren apartments nestled on three acres nestled in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, DC. The original Art Deco building opened in 1931 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The South Wing opened in 2002. Creating an efficient project while maintaining the right aesthetic of this Grande Dame was paramount, but energy efficiency was the target. Combining an efficient design with utility rebates, Lightility upgraded over 2500 fixtures that delivered annual savings in excess of $100,000 per year representing a 60% reduction in lighting-related electricity use, and the equivalent of removing 100 cars off the road annually. Congratulations to the team at B.F. Saul and Kennedy Warren. Lightility was honored to have been entrusted with such a treasured landmark!
