The City of Manassas awarded Lightility the contract to install EV chargers at the new John D. Conner III Public Safety Facility that combines the City’s Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue administration, Emergency Communications and Operations, and Information Technology Personnel. This new building was intended to reinforce the partnership between these critical service providers who are there to protect the safety of Manassas city residents. Lightility was honored to receive this contract award as the city begins testing electric vehicles for its safety personnel.
The project included installing two dual-port Level 2 80 amp pedestal mount Charge Point charging stations with cable management. Lightlity was responsible for designing, permitting, and installing a new 480V transformer, new feeds, dedicated circuits, new concrete pads with bollards, 30-day power monitoring, and activation/commissioning of the chargers.
We are excited to be a part of the city’s public safety initiative.
