EV Charging
About Our EV Charging Services
EV infrastructure and charging stations are quickly becoming more than an amenity. As preferences and mandates continue to migrate towards fully electric, businesses, apartments, condos, hotels, outdoor retail, parking structures, and more will require comprehensive e-mobility solutions to meet market demand. Our future-fitting designs ensure that existing buildings stay competitive, and our turn-key project delivery means that we will provide not only the products and services you require but also ensure you get the full value of all available EV charging project incentives and provide financing upon request.
Marnie Abramson, Principal and Founder of Lightility, recently presented at the EV Charging Infrastructure Summit to discuss the multifaceted challenges and costs associated with implementing EV infrastructure. The presentation (available for download here) provides insights from financial, technological, and logistical perspectives, offering a balanced view of efficiency, affordability, and sustainability, and providing a valuable resource to navigate the evolving landscape of EV infrastructure.

- Turn-Key Proposal
- Project Award
- Verify & Permit
- Install & Commission
- Rebates & Grants
- Activation & Support
Lightility will provide an introduction regarding charging station capabilities to the customer. We will establish client goals for utilization, and review specific requirements for billing and control. Present options for software and warranty requirements. State and local rebate incentives will be discussed. The customer will be given a projected timeline from project award to final inspection.
Lightility will conduct a physical onsite assessment of existing site conditions. Lightility will pinpoint potential challenges, identify any specific requirements, and determine optimal charger locations based on accessibility and price point. Our team will review onsite power locations, determine site power capacity for EVCS locations and calculate the distance from the point of power to the EVCS locations.
A load study will be performed, with the potential for power usage monitoring. Power monitoring will be conducted if the point of power appears to be at or approaching electrical capacity. Recommendations will be provided if a determination is made that enhancements to the exiting panel are required. Any upgrades will be included in the engineer drawings.
An electrical infrastructure design will be calculated to define the most cost-effective solution as well as meeting NEIC requirements. Product will be specified to align with client requirements and provide the best options for a successful installation. A utility analysis will be completed to identify cost saving opportunities through state, federal and/or local rebate/grant programs and any tax benefits, if applicable.
A contract is prepared and executed by both parties based on our detailed system design and scope of work. This level of detail ensures each project stays on-time and on-budget.
A final site assessment is verified to generate permit documentation based on county/city requirements. Engineer drawings are prepared, detailing the number of charging stations and onsite station locations, load verification, ADA compliancy as needed, and any other required specifications. Lightility will oversee the permit application process and engineer drawings are submitted to the issuing agency for approval. Installation is scheduled immediately following permit approval.
Lightility’s highly skilled team of experts follow detailed SOPs to ensure the success of every project from kickoff through commissioning. Our dedicated project managers will provide detailed communication and coordinate closely with the appointed customer contacts throughout the project installation and beyond.
Lightility will schedule and coordinate the final inspection and close out the permits with the issuing agency. Upon project completion, Lightility will submit all required documentation for available rebates and grants, on behalf of the customer.
Lightility will ensure that the chargers are activated, connected to the network, and functioning properly. Lightility will facilitate training resources to assist the customer with the initial set-up of their new system, ensuring familiarity with all features and benefits available for the new electric vehicle charging station (EVCS).
